Opinion

We are seeing increasing numbers of local bank branches closing around the country and it seems the future of free ATMs now also hangs in the balance.  Carers face being drawn into helping older people with basic access to physical cash if they are reluctant or unable to bank online, an uncomfortable situation for both parties.
